Our blog is designed to give homeowners a clearer view of what is happening, what is changing, what matters in real time, and what helps people take better care of their system. When septic is managed well, everyone benefits — the homeowner, the household budget, the property, and the environment the system is meant to protect.

How CleanEarth builds content.

Our aim is to bring septic owners the information they want to know and need to know in a clear, digestible format. We do that by building content from multiple sources and delivering it through articles, videos, field posts, practical resources, and in-person community workshops.

We also sit down regularly with our analytics partner, iNet Media, to review what septic owners are searching for first in Foothills, Rocky View, and surrounding counties, and then more broadly across Alberta and British Columbia. From that, we identify local patterns, wider search trends, and recurring problems. We combine that with what we are seeing in the field every day through repairs, restorations, maintenance, and proactive service calls, including the issues homeowners may not be searching for yet, but still need to understand.

From there, we layer in seasonal operating conditions, septic innovation and new technology, industry training and conferences, and the regulatory direction developing across Canada and the United States. That process shapes the articles, videos, field posts, and resources we produce.
